The short list. These are the moving averages behind the entries, stops, and market reads on this site.
| Average | Chart | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| 8 EMA | Daily | Short-term trend. Pullback entries happen near it; a daily close below it is the trailing exit on runners. |
| 21 EMA | Daily | Intermediate trend. Strong uptrends hold above it; the gap between it and the 50 is part of the regime check. |
| 50 SMA | Daily | Longer trend and institutional reference. A 21 EMA sitting close above it is a warning, not support. |
| 200-week VWMA | Weekly | Very long-term value line, weighted by volume. Used for deep-value entries and targets. |
