At the close, every position in the journal matches the broker, and nothing that's flat is still marked open.

Why
A record you can't trust teaches nothing. If the journal says you're in a stock you sold days ago, every stat built on it is wrong.
Trades that are flat at the broker but not yet closed out with a review show on this site as "Exited · review pending." It's visible on purpose.
